So this tent is very spacious. We do like it. We have been in high winds (roughly 40+ mph), rain, snow, and sunshine. In the summer temps this tent is great. Lots Of ventilation. That being said, it is NOT good for cold weather and does NOT do well in wind. The rain protector becomes a gaping kite catching tons of cold air and allowing it into the tent. Also… the flapping of that thing the first night kept my husband and I up ALL night long. To solve that we strapped the whole thing down the next day. It helped, but it was still obnoxious. As you can see in the picture we had frost. I think no water would have come in but my husband was rubbing the tent wall, and a little while later we had a small puddle inside that got our air lateness wet. Also, everyone’s sleeping bag was damp outside because of dew. Likely due to all the ceiling area allowing so much cold air in. Also, the windows DO NOT completely zip up. Across the top they are open. I would have liked them to fully zip shut to keep it a little warmer. There is nowhere to hang a little light in 2 of the rooms. Only one. Kind of dumb.
This tent does set up quick. It’s very nice to have the built in poles.

I got this tent for a three night camping trip in the white mountains. Set up and break down was very easy. I don’t think the rod can take a lot of bending so take your time while setting it up and taking it down. Once up it was very stable. Two of the nights had huge rain storms. No wind but a ton of rain. The walls oozed a little and some water pooled in on room but that room wasn’t on a tarp (didn’t bring one big enough), so that may have been an issue. I hadn’t had time to test it before the trip and add water proofing so that may fix the oozing. Very experienced campers have told me you should always water proof your tent before using it, even if it’s new. I figure I’ll need a lot to cover a tent of this size though. Water did pool at the edges of the rain fly where it becomes an awning over the open part of the L-Shape and pulled out. Stake that I hadn’t set well but it wasn’t a big deal. There is only one ceiling hook for a lamp in the center room which I wish the other two rooms had but the rooms are spacious enough for two cots and gear. All in all, I think it is an excellent tent for the money.

I was extremely disappointed with this tent. Initially I opened it at home and checked the tent and ease of use. It was very very easy to set up and take down singlehandedly. It had two small tears in the screen and one small tear in the tent, I figured I would just repair them or email the vendor as soon as I got it back from out trip. . The first storm that appeared on our camping trip in Appalachian mountains left us without shelter. The tent came down as soon as a little wind took to it. The first major gust just as I was getting ready to put my kids to sleep resulted in one room buckling in on it self, soon the other side did too and my toddler was screaming as it got darker and we got wetter. The whole tent soon fell and there was nothing we could do, we ran to a friend’s tent – lucky – and were safe for the night. But the tent was on the ground all night and we were not able to get it back up in the rain.

Once we got the tent back up the top would not stay together. It kept coming down. The main "mast" stayed up (the one with five poles coming from it), but the two sides did not stay up. We also had some of the clips that held the tent to the poles rip off. I am very very disappointed we didn’t even get to spend one night in it before this happened.

It did however have nice pockets in each "room", zippers worked great, only one room had a place to hang a light from, rain fly was great coverage and dried quick. Loved the windows. Great idea for the vents/ac unit access. Wish it was more stable at the top.

I was able to get it back up in my yard to dry today – but the top is wobbly and came down a couple times. It does not seem to snap sturdy enough and seems to be missing support necessary for it to stay up there. I don’t say I trust this and I will be looking to get a refund or exchange for this product.

Let’s be real. The the number of people a tent can sleep rating is really just how many bodies can fit on the floor. I have 6 people in my family. Add in gear and air mattress, clothes, you need space. this tent was great because we were able to fit 2 people in each section comfortably with all our gear. The front door cover is great to cover your shoes when it rains. Used in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks. Did not have issues with water. It poured our first night. The only thing you might have a problem is find a big enough spot for the tent. This is great for 6 people and all there gear. Set up is a breeze too!

I read a lot of mixed reviews about this tent but I have to say, I love it. We took it camping for a music festival this past weekend. We easily fit 6 adults, each with their own cot and there was still room to spare. It goes up easy, less than 10 minutes to put up, and same for taking it down and putting it away. All in all it was a good purchase and I am not disappointed one bit.

Water resistance is great. Devoutly want the rain fly on if weather is even questionable. Weatherproof is good but not great. Our has zero ability to keep heat in and feel our back during a strong gust of wind…however, the poles never broke and set up literally took 10 seconds. It also factored in the I did not have the rain fly the down set very far from the tent so stability was questionable to begin with. It is pretty quick to set up. Takes me about 5 minutes on my own. I love the design on the Windows as the excess materials tucks away into its own pocket. We had 3 kids, 2 adults and 2 dogs in this tent along with bedding, clothing and a kennel and there was still ample amount of room to move around. This is very much a fair weather tent but amazing for the price!!

The good stuff first – the main reason we bought this tent was for the space. Especially during rain, having sleeping stuff separate from where we are trying to hang out with three kids was a must and this delivers. The shaded corner is a plus as well, as is the large windows. The learning curve for set up is I think similar to other tents, once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty easy. I will say, be careful, if you bend a pole or break something you can’t replace it. Especially extending the two arms, our first try we had real issues with it, I think mostly because you have to extent them at the same time (if you extend one before the other, it makes the angle just off enough to make extending the second one hard). Don’t get frustrated and try to force it, just collapse both and try again. In terms of weather, this held up great through three nights and a day of some very heavy down pores. The wind wasn’t fierce so I can’t speak to that, but we didn’t have leaks, except a little bit in two of the corners on the ground. I should also preface this by saying I put the tent in a bad place (the low place on the campsite where the water was running off to). but the less than one cup of water collecting in the corner was very manageable, especially given the rain we had. One other positive, this tent went back into the bag in came in easier than I thought.

So, the downsides. My husband is not fond of the all in one nature of the construction. Again, if you break a pole the whole tent is trash. Also, hard to clean underside off as you can’t just lay it out and flip it over. In hindsight, an undertarp would solve both that problem and the bit of water we had. The other downside is the rainfly and airflow. My husband used this tent and the conditions were just right so that condensation happened on the underside of the fly. Because the ceiling is all mesh, as soon as someone jostled the poles, all the condensation dropped down into the tent, which made for a rude awakening. We didn’t have this issue the second time, in part I think because it was warmer at night, and also we did use some battery operated fans to move air, because it was so warm and we had to have fly on for rain. With the fly on, you can have the windows down a few inches (unless the wind is really blowing the rain) so airflow isn’t bad, with windows all the way down or fly off, airflow is great.

We ordered this tent for an upcoming camping trip. We decided to do a dry run on the set up only to discover that the rainfly is essentially useless because of a manufacturer defect. The straps that secures the rainfly to the tent have bungee cord and a hook sewn to the strap. One of my straps doesn’t have the bungee cord or hook. PLEASE set up your new tent BEFORE you go camping just in case it is missing a vital piece.

The tent itself is great, but beware of improper assembly. The top rods were forcibly inserted the wrong way, and the end rooms wear attached to the wrong sides. It was very confusing trying to figure out the proper orientation especially in 95 degree heat. Better brands probably wouldn’t have this issue
