Great lantern! Several levels of light. Charge lasted for 2.5 days during recent power outage.

It looks nice, but the bad thing is the way the LED lights shine up through the white plastic. They are quite visible and uncomfortable to look at. The micro USB is an old tech, but at least the cable stores in the base. If you are going to use this a lot, I’d look for something else.

      Pros:
      1. Provides the brightest light among all the lantern i purchased
      2. Around 5-6 hours of light at max mode
      3. Can calibrate brightness of light yourself by holding the power button
      4. Small compartment inside the base of lantern for storage of charging cable/miscellaneous
      5. Sturdy lantern which is good during extreme weather

      Cons:
      1. Quite big and heavy for camping (Compared to other lantern i had)
      2. Would automatically dim itself after a while in max light mode (probably for energy saving, but it is a bit irritating needing to turn off and on the lantern in a while when you want to keep max light)
      3. No battery indicator.
      4. The other two light mode is pretty useless. I always use the max light mode and dim the light manually.
      4. No manual. Although this is a simple lantern, there should be a manual inside. At first i thought there was only three light mode and i was mildly dissapointed. But then i found out the dimming function by accident (by holding the power button). Also, the red light blink when you are charging and stop blinking when finished charging, which you have to learn it yourself. I expect a simple manual would suffice, and should probably be provided for a product from a big company like energizer.

I was looking for a rechargeable lantern option for an upcoming trip- since I will have access to power and don’t want to eat up batteries. This is a lightweight, very packable design! I did a “test” to see how long it would run on bright. The battery light will blink while charging and go steady red once full. Once fully charged, I ran this non-stop for over 8 hours, when I finally gave up. It was still super bright! I’m not sure how long it would have ran but I can’t see when I would need it for longer. Very impressed.I did notice that after being left on for an hour or two, it would seem to dim, but I think it was “saving battery” because it seemed to automatically dim itself. If I pushed the button again it would go back to full brightness. I would definitely recommend this. I am going to look into the battery option as well to keep stored in case of black outs (since I wouldn’t know to plan and keep this one charged like I will for camping). The brightness is a good level (not too bright but could easily light up a medium sized space). Also the frosted color helps alot– I didn’t go blind each time my eyes wandered over to it *unlike my glass lantern. Recommend!

I gifted to my mom on her birthday. She used a lot while farm animals such as rabbits care and chickens. Previously I brought replaceable batteries lantern and same output as rechargeable built in lantern. She wanted rechargeable lantern and make easier for her to using it. I like a constructive built than other lantern out there especially the handle grip (more like heavy duty). Bright as 75 watt light bulb at high setting, low is about 15 watt, and glow amber-ish would be use for night light. I had experience with power outages and used this couple times. Just plenty light for single room in the house. Battery life mild may vary depending on runs time from settings.

La compré para el campo, alumbra super bien en nivel alto y medio, el nivel bajo puede ser para cuando ya se esta descansando. Tardó en cargar unas 4 horas, todavía no puedo decir que tanto dura, pero me gustó mucho.

Rechargeable camping lantern. I love this thing. Everyone who sees it they want it. It’s super bright and dim if you heed it. Works for both situations. Long lasting no battery..
      Just recharge it

      It is what I expected.
      – It’s a lantern, not a flashlight or a spotlight. It glows to light up a large area, great for lighting a room if the power goes out.
      – I think the bright setting is more than you need for lighting a room and probably better used outdoors. In an emergency situation you wouldn’t want to use this setting since it drains the battery faster.
      – I think the low light setting is plenty to light a room and what you would use the most often.
      – The red light setting will probably be the least or never used by your average person. It is very dim! It would have to be very dark to use it as a light source. Probably the most useful if you wanted to use the lantern as a marker to show others where you are, or in a small space with very low light and wanted to keep your night vision.
      – Took a long time to charge! But wasn’t a surprise as I read in the description takes 8 hours. I would say that is fairly accurate amount of time, could have been a little longer. Blinking red light by the charging port while charging, turns to a solid red light when fully charged.
      – The charging cable stores inside a compartment located on the bottom of the lamp.
      – You just get a USB charging cable, not something you can just plug into a regular old fashioned wall outlet. – It’s a built-in rechargeable battery only, you can’t use D batteries or anything like that with this.
